The Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (GCASAFV) provides education, outreach, and training regarding sexual assault and family violence through working with community organizations and strengthening services to address and prevent these issues. The Guam Community Resource Directory serves as GCASAFV’s listing of faith-based organizations, non-profit service providers, and other government and private agencies in our island community. Here you can find a brief description of the agency and contact information for those agencies that make up a network of services for a better Guam.

The village of Sinajaña is located in the central part of the island and is part of the Kattan (Eastern) District. Sinajaña overlooks the central parks of Guam and sits atop of Hagåtña. The village derives its name from the word “chinahan”. “Chinahan” means the method of baking wild yams in the dirt. The “ña” at the end of the village name “Sinajaña” refers to the people who helped in the baking process.
