Guam Healthy Relationship Program (GHREP) is part of the Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood (HMRF) initiative led by the U.S. Health and Human Services (US DHHS) Administration of Children and Families’ (ACF) strategy to improve the lives of children. GHREP is a culturally responsive program on the island of Guam serving individuals ages 18-35 and is a part of a network of 121 organizations funded by ACF’s HMRF initiative to provide comprehensive healthy relationship skills and marriage education services to improve the overall well-being of children and their parents.

The Guam Healthy Relationship Education Program (GHREP) purpose is to provide education and activities that support health marriage promotion, strengthen families, and improve outcomes for young couples (and their families) that may be facing social and/or economic challenges.

Note: Data for this listing was compiled from online sources by UOG social work students enrolled in SW110 Introduction to Community Services on Guam classes (Sections 1 and 2) in the spring semester of 2017.

  • Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP)
  • Prepare and Enrich-Parenting Program
  • Money Smart Financial Education Program
  • Anger Management Program

The GHREP offers childcare services free of charge for participants with young children during services. This is important because evidence suggests that parents who are able to bring their children with them into services are typically most successful in reaching their program goals.
