Our Mission
Rooted in faith and in the love of Jesus Christ and through the intercession of our patroness, Santa Marian Kamalen, we, the people of the Archdiocese of Agaña, are called

to proclaim the Good News in word and in action;
to worship God through welcoming and vibrant celebrations of the Word and Sacraments;
to share with Christ in the loving redemption of humanity;
to reverend life and to be a source of comfort and hope for those in need;
to invite all to participate in the building of the reign of God in our midst.

Our Vision
We, the Archdiocese of Agaña, envision the following for our people as we enter the third millennium:

working in unity and in collaboration with the clergy, religious and laity;
evangelizing our people towards an ever-growing relationship with God;
nurturing all members of our families in an environment of love, care and understanding;
educating to enrich the spiritual and physical well-being of all people;
strengthening our human and financial resources for the building of the reign of God,
celebrating a vibrant and prayerful faith community rooted in the Gospels and in the Sacraments of the Church.

AOA also offers the VIRTUS Online Training Program

VIRTUS® Online is the brand name that identifies a state-of-the-art, web-based platform that provides best practice resources 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our system provides a comprehensive menu of functions for churches, religious organizations, and facilities from one convenient web-based resource. Through these functions we can help church organizations prevent wrongdoing, manage risk and improve service to their communities through education, training, and best practices.

Most training programs (seminars, live sessions, videos) establish awareness, but few change behavior. With the VIRTUS® programs, the potential for successful behavioral change can be increased via our VIRTUS® Online system. Every training program, in addition to live and video awareness sessions, provides ongoing web-based training through online training bulletins and modules.

Online training bulletins and modules cover many topics within the following broad categories:
  • Protecting God's Children Online Awareness
  • Safety and Risk Management
  • Crisis Management
  • Employment Practices
  • Human Resources
  • Student Exposures
